The typical swedish timber house Stensjön is beautifully placed on a remote, large lakeside property with great scenic views overlooking lake Stensjön. Facing the lake in southwestern direction the waterline is only 40 meters away from the house.
The timber house: built around 1920, area 100 m2: hallway, a large, old-fashioned kitchen / dining room, bathroom with shower and WC, bedroom with a double bed (160 cm) and a living room with a couch that can be used as a bed. Upstairs: large open room with two single beds ,a bedroom with double bed (160 cm) and smaller kidsbed.The house has electric heating and complete equipment for cooking your meals: Electric stove and oven, fridge / freezer, coffee machine, microwave.
Right outside the house you can pick raspberries and red current for your pie. Garden furniture and a grill come with the house as well as a canoe and a rowing boat. On the large property you find a small storage house and an outdoor fireplace.
Down by the lake there is a great deck and an idyllic grass covered area where you can have your breakfast aswell as your dinner watching the sunset. The area around the house offers sun from early in the morning until late in the evening. You have a dog? Very welcome!

Excellent opportunities for swimming, canoeing, fishing (large pikes!), hiking, biking etc. Lots of blueberries, lingonberries mushrooms can be found just around the corner in the surrounding woods. Welcome to explore the lake with its hidden bays and fish grounds. Sitting by the campfire you can listen to the sound of the loon echoing beautifully across the lake. With a little luck the moose - king of the woods himself - can be seen nearby.
