This typical swedish country home named Deglundsnäset is perfectly situated on an undisturbed lakefront property. The main house, the sauna house, the barn and the privat lake access together form an idyllic spot that reminds you of an Astrid Lindgren story. Wherever you are on the property you have a stunning lakeview. Also there is no other house in sight…
The main house: Built in solid timber around 1890, area 55 m2: Hallway, large kitchen / dining room, bathroom with shower and WC, large bedroom with double bed. The cabin has electric heating and the complete equipment for cooking your meals: Electric stove and oven, fridge/freezer, coffee machine.
The saunahouse/tiny house: Holds a bedroom with two single beds that can be turned into a double-bed. And the sauna features a wood fired oven and a window facing the lake - creating this very speciell atmosphere you are looking for when thinking of a Swedish sauna.
On the large property there is a private jetty for swimming and slipping the boat and canoe in the water. It offers sun from early morning until the late evening. A great outdoor fireplace is also right next to the lake. Beautiful sunsets often color the sky in the most amazing ways. If you are lucky you will even be able to experience the northern lights!
Northern pike and perch are easy to catch in the lake and taste delicious if you feel like preparing it.
Explore the beautiful lake by boat or canoe with its several islands and beautiful bays. Take a dip in the lake enjoying the evening sun and later on sit by the campfire where you can listen to the sound of the loon echoing across the lake. Very welcome if you want to bring your dog!
The surroundings: House Deglundsnäset is in the middle of eastern Värmland´s wilderness, 15 km east of small town Hagfors surrounded by several lakes. Excellent opportunities for swimming, canoeing, fishing, hiking, biking etc. Lots of blueberries, raspberries, lingonberries and mushrooms can be found just around the corner in the surrounding woods.
Lake Deglunden and the connected lakes nearby are also a paradise for canoeing! You can take a short canoe trip into the sunset or go on a longer expedition - maybe even camp out on an island!
You are very welcome to spend your vacation in Sweden at this very special place!
