The cabin is situated on a little hill just a few steps from lake Yngen offering beautiful scenic views in all directions. Private lake access. This beautiful spot in the heart of Värmland enables you to enjoy undisturbed nature.
The cabin: built around 1940, 20 sqm: One big room holding doublebed, table to eat, kitchen section with fridge, small electric oven, and sink (no running water). The cabins has electricity (heating too) and complete equipment for cooking your meals, but no shower or WC. In the nearby shed the old fashioned but newbulit toilet is found. Water is fetched straight out of the lake, drinkingwater in the nearby town or from the lake too. Right outside the house facing south the garden furniture and the grill has a sunny spot. Old trees follow the privat shoreline and you can always find a beautiful spot in the shadow or in the sun. Canoe and rowing boat comes with the house. You have a dog? Very welcome to take the dog with you.
The surroundings Lövudden is undisturbed placed in the woods right next to the large lake Yngen 15 km southeast of Filipstad (20 min). Nearest neighbour is 150 m north of the house (out of sight).
Excellent opportunities for swimming, canoeing, fishing, hiking, biking etc. Blueberries, lingon-berries and lots of mushrooms can be found just around the corner. The lake invites you to take exciting canoeing trips. Enjoy the spectacular sunsets or take a boat- trip to one oft the nearby islands. Lake Yngen´s size is 27 squarekilometers. The lake is considered being especially valuable because of its nature, excellent water quality and all kinds of rare fishes. Using the canoe or the rowing boat you can explore remote islands, beaches and hidden bays and great rock formation of all kind. Sitting by the campfire you can listen to the sound of the loon echoing beautiful across the lake.
